MC Hammer or "King Hammer" returns to rap to address a line Jay Z directed his way a couple weeks ago. He returns not only with a new song "Better Run Run" but he recorded a video for it as well. Who knew he still had it in him. Now the imagery is clear, Jay Z sold his soul to the devil for fame but the delivery? This song definitely has a sound but it happens to be MC Hammer circa early 90's. Now the line that hammer is refering too would be "The hammer went and broke so you know I'm more focused/I lost 30 mill so spent another 30/Cause unlike hammer 30 million can't hurt me" which Jay Z dropped in his verse for Kanye West's G.O.O.D Friday release "So Appalled." The video feature a Jay Z lookalike running through the forest as the devil is chasing him, scenes of Hammer dancing in all white around a fire and of course some hard core dancing. "King Hammer" baptizes the Jay Z lookalike to close the video. Clearly, solving everything. This line must have really rubbed Hammer the wrong way but does Jay Z even care?
